This little woodfired pedestal dish was made with clay from my backyard in NC, decorated with slip, and fired to 2300ºF in the double decker wood kiln at Ceramics School. Perfect for incense, salt, jewelry, or small treasures.
This piece comes from the bottom chamber where it received beautiful flashing, reduction cooled to around 1500º.
