These pieces were made from materials gathered directly from the landscape around me.
I made this work during a residency at Township 10. Each piece is formed from clay dug in Marshall, NC or from my backyard in Burnsville, and finished with glazes made from plant ash. The Miscanthus ash comes from invasive grass removed from the property, burned, and combined with local minerals to create the glaze.
This work explores how a pot can hold the record of where it comes from—NC earth and the ash of plants that grew from it.
Most of these pieces are small, existing between exploration and function—objects that hold use while marking a specific moment of material discovery.

All packages typically ship within 3-7 days via USPS.
Shipping costs are 10$ per order + 5$ for every additional item.
I do my best to pack everything as safely and securely as possible but if something breaks in transit, send me an email with photos and we can work out a refund or exchange.
Currently only shipping within the continental US.
